TRUTH NEVER DIES COMMUNITY'S
THE TRUTH NEVER DIES COMMUNITY’S Leadership Board of Conductor INTRODUCTION “The great leaders are like the best conductors- they reach beyond the notes to reach the players”. -Blain Lee, THE POWER PRINCIPLE The Truth Never Dies movement has been a dynamic force behind the fight of liberation for Leon Benson (LB), an innocent & political prisoner, wrongfully incarcerated in Indiana. Although there has been some progress & success a long the way, the mission is far from being completed. The key to some of the progress over the years has been due to LB’s personal efforts from the inside. However, the bigger portion of the progress happened as a result of many supporters, women & men, from around the world. Seemingly ordinary people, these supporters are what we deem as leaders. Leaders because they each had the courage, patience, direction, creativity, & humanity to take appropriate action on behalf of LB. However, they each lacked a major element to secure victory: unified efforts. There is only so much one person can do without the help of a community, i.e, common unity. Here the community we are referring to are the group of people around the world who not only proclaim, but actually stand for the values of truth & justice; & who also live by the faith, belief, & practical mantra: “TRUTH NEVER DIES IT’S ONLY REDISCOVERED!” We live in an Information Age where the sense of community is global. To connect with people w/ the same values & purposes are but a click a way on a cell phone or computer. Our friend LB has been wrongfully in prison for 20 yrs too long. Therefore, we are now bringing together the best available leaders in an organized & productive structure. For its founders “Truth Never Dies!” is a way of life & philosophy, not merely a movement’s slogan. We envision nothing will manifest without the assembling of a unique symphony of conductors to make the world dance to the musical notes of truth, freedom, & justice. Therefore, if you are sincerely interested & committed in becoming a TND conductor. This memorandum will be an outline & guide to the expectations & duties of each Leader-ship Board Conductor & team supporter. LEADERSHIP BOARD’S CONDUCTOR ROLES “The voice of individuals are hidden in a chorus while the voices of all are heard, & thus a harmony emerges”. -Macrobius 1.Management Conductor 2.Events Conductor 3.Membership Conductor 4.Public Relations Conductor 5.Legal Conductor 6.Fundraiser Conductor 7.Arts & Designs Conductor 8.Team Supporters In order for you to lead your team effectively you must first understand your role & the roles of others within the organization. Having a clear understanding of your expectations, procedures, & responsibilities is key to & maintaining a successful community. Having systemic structure & formation allows for all individuals to harmonize in efforts, which is of great importance when building anything of enduring success. Whether it be a building, business, movement, or family. The the above roles are each different, yet when they are performed in unity, they will act as the same mind, voice, & body. Leaders achieve results for their communities by giving priority attention to the needs of their members. Consider yourself than to be conductor of symphony of human resource- creativity, networks, knowledge, & spiritual energy. While each conductor is responsible to fulfill her’s or his own role, they must do so w/ the purpose & desire to serve others. You must be committed to serve in order to lead. The only ways to achieve this type of service • leadership is to be trustworthy, self- aware, empathetic, empowering, visionary, & humble. Therefore, your role or position does not matter in the community in order to have a great impact, you’ll display service in your leadership whether you’re the CEO or a mail sorter. Here’s an inspiring example below: “ In the early days of space research, John F. Kennedy visited NASA. He met many great scientists & researchers. He met men & women w/ great ambition to conquer space travel & engineers. He met administrators & accountants; & many others whose contributions to the project was priceless. These men & women had a sense of destiny , purpose, & pride. While walking back to his limousine from out the facility, he crossed a stooped, gray- haired man who held a bucket in one hand & a mop in the other. It seemed to be almost patronizing to ask , but the President asked politely, “And what it is you do here at NASA?” Straightening his posture, the cleaner looked squarely into the President’s eyes & w/ a strong sense of inspiration & dignity in his voice he replied, “Sir, I’m doing the same work over here as everyone else. I’m doing my part to put man on the moon! The old man in the story was a service- leader in his role at NASA. He was committed to doing his part. He did not let his e.g.o ( erasing God out) get in the way of his performance doing clean up work w/ common unity, i.e., community. And it is this type of leader we need to be TND conductors. This will allow you room to do other things in your personal life if need be after completing project tasks. Now it’s obvious why we chant: TRUTH NEVER DIES ITS ONLY REDISCOVERED!” IN CONCLUSION The above role descriptions are but on outline & guide to the aspired leadership structure. There are more details to be shared. But for now, this will give you an ideal of what is expected if you’d like to be amongst the leadership of the TND community. Accountability & responsibility are key points in establishing leadership in any organization. Nothing can be done appropriately w/ out procedural we look forward to working w/ you soon. Until then, be prepared to play your role. Now we await your reply. Let’s win! #TND
